note that if you receive an email enquiring about your dress
with similiar wording to any of those below, that it is
a "cashback"
scam.
You
should NEVER sell to anyone who:
offers
more money than the dress is worth or
to any male buyers
be cautious
of anyone who is not in the UK - we have had many genuine
sales from overseas buyers but frequently they are trying
to run the "cashback" scam. Please ignore their
email and see below for tips on how to sell your dress safely.
We would suggest ignoring
any emails from buyers who are not in the UK or who are
men, regardless of their location and also ignore anyone
who mentions they will send you a cheque for an increased
amount. We strongly suggest you accept cash and that the
buyer visits you to try on the dress.
